Cowl Neck Sweater

Hey y'all!

Has anyone else missed fashion posts? Because me too. For my birthday back in December, I received a new camera lens, but I just haven't had the time (or the right outfit) to take pictures. I'm hoping that will change!

Let's start off by admiring this gorgeous patchwork cowl neck sweater. I love wearing poncho-styled tops because they keep you warm and can hide a food baby, both equally important factors. I chose to pair it with these dark wash high-rise flare jeans. I am so on board with this bell-bottom trend. Especially for tall girls, I think they do an amazing job of accentuating long legs.

For a cold night out, I would opt to wear a pair of black booties, and boy are these comfortable! I picked them up on Black Friday when I was in Nashville. They're perfect and such an amazing steal! If it's not freezing outside, you can always pair this outfit with wedges!

And last, but not least, a black fringe purse (1 + 2) to go along with your #ootd. This one in particular is sold out, but I linked two similar options above!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

How to Plan Like a Pro in College

Hey y'all!

Today we are talking about one of my absolute favorite things, PLANNERS!! Don't worry, I'm not an over organizer where I decorate my planner with stickers and such (been there, tried that, too much to keep up with), but I'm definitely a huge believer in writing things down.

Since it's the beginning of a new year AND the beginning of a new semester, I thought it would be super fun to share with you how I use my planner.

As everyone begins with their New Years Resolutions, I know a lot of people have "get organized" on their to do list. Hopefully my tips can help you out since I'll also be sharing how I stay organized during the school year.

Drugstore Makeup Starter Kit

Primer / Foundation / Concealer / Makeup Sponge / Powder / Blush / Eyeshadow Palette / Mascara / Eyeliner

Hey y'all!

Today's post is one of my favorite things to talk about, makeup. I used to be super skeptical about drugstore makeup products. I firmly believed that if something was under $10 then there was no way it could work. And honestly, that couldn't be further from the truth!

Now a large part of my beauty routine consists of products that I can just grab from Target! Not to mention, it makes my wallet a lot happier when I'm not shelling out $20 on an eyeliner every few months.

Linked above are my own favorite drugstore products. I've used all of them that are listed. And personally, I use the mascara and makeup sponge every single day that I choose to wear makeup!

Almond Milk & Berry Smoothie

Hey y'all!

Part of my New Year's resolution is to eat a more plant-based diet or essentially eat vegan! I plan on doing some more blog posts in the near future about my decision, my favorite snacks and even some good documentaries to watch if you're considering it!

Here's a yummy smoothie recipe that's perfect for vegans and is super easy to make! I originally found this recipe on Food Network's website and just had to share with my readers, but I changed it up a tiny bit.

→  2 glasses

→  1/2 medium banana, cut into chunks
→  1/4 cup frozen blueberries
→  1/4 cup frozen strawberries
→  1/4 cup frozen mango (chopped into chunks)
→  2 cups of unsweetened vanilla-flavored almond milk

→  Mix all ingredients in a blender until combined, about 40 seconds. Serve in a glass and enjoy!

→  I use refrigerated almond milk to make sure the drink is cold.
→ Add some granola on top for a nice crunch. My personal favorite is Nature's Path Organic Pumpkin Flaxseed (shown in the picture!)
